Methamphetamine plays many games with the human brain, users will get very paranoid, and feel like EVERYONE'S OUT TO GET THEM! visual and auditory hallucinations are very common. This can be quite dangerous to the users and anyone who comes in contact with them.
Users see 'THINGS' and hear 'NOISES' that seems to be actual. These hallucinations can be very dangerous because the user may feel like his/her safety is in jeapordy. Meth is especially lethal for that it may cause PERMENANT BRAIN DAMAGE, these unreal hallucinations and thoughts may become a regular part of the users life, even when not under the influence of the drug!
The Laws on methamphetamine possession, sale and/or manufacture are very strictly enforced FELONIES.
Here is what you can expect if you are arrested for meth.
* CONSPIRACY TO and/or POSESSION OF METHAMPHETAMINE: will usually result in jail or prison time, depending on circumstances, prior criminal history and if the case is going to be heard in STATE or FEDERAL court!
* CONSPIRACY TO and/or POSESSION OF METHAMPHETAMINE with INTENT TO SALE/DISTRIBUTE/DELIVER; this catergory of crime is very serious and the defendant has a 99% chance that he/she will end up in jail or be sent away to prison for a very LENGTHY sentence! depending on the circumstances, prior criminal history, and if the case is heard in STATE or is bound over to FEDERAL jurisdiction. If you value your freedom STAY CLEAR away from this crime.
* CONSPIRACY TO and/or MANUFACTURE OF METHAMPHETAMINE; This is the the most serious crime in the meth category. If you are arrested and convicted of this crime, PRAY and PRAY DEARLY. In the courts eye, the defendant that is found guilty of manufacturing (cooking) methamphetamine is an extreme danger to society and the community, therefore the sentence will ensure the defendant 10-20 years MINIMUM in prison, but depending on the circumstances, prior criminal history, and STATE or FEDERAL jurisdiction, this crime has landed unsuspecting cooks in prison for LIFE or MULTIPLE LIFE sentences. So, if you think that you want to be a chemist and start making meth, THINK VERY, VERY HARD. most ALL people making meth EVENTUALLY get caught, the process is very dangerous and on top of being arrested, meth 'labs' have been known to explode, kill anyone thats in the area and destroy surrounding dwellings.
* CONSPIRACY TO and/or POSSESION of PRECURSOR CHEMICAL used in the MANUFACTURE of METHAMPHETAMINE; This is also a very serious charge. This criminal code states that anyone in posession of any one or a variety of chemicals that are used to aid in the manufacture of methamphetamine, will also be faced with stiff jail or PRISON terms. Some of the chemicals used to make meth are 'legal', but depending on the circumstances and quantity of the precursor agents found at the time of arrest, the defendant could also face conspiracy or (attempted) manufacture of methaphetamine, and/or attempted distribution charges. Precursor agents that are used to make meth are very volitile and can cause serious bodily harm or death. In the past unsuspecting individuals that thought they were immune to arrest and prosecution because these chemicals are 'legal', are now serving lengthy prison sentences. The court will more than likely look at these charges in the same way as if the arrestee had been caught actually manufacturing meth.
AGAIN, if you value your freedom, keep clear of any of these crimes, they are very serious, and the defendant will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
If you are a user of meth, remember that this HIGHLY addictive drug will take you on a straight path to destruction !
